Nicole Cardoza – Speaker & Storyteller
Nicole Cardoza (she/her) is a magician and storyteller. Over the past two years, she’s toured the country and performed at universities, exclusive venues, for corporations and private events.
As a performer, Nicole shares her perspective on stage magic as a Black queer woman, the history and future of Black magicians, and encourages us to find the magic inherent in us all.
Nicole brings over a decade of experience as a public speaker to her performances. She’s graced keynotes for major conferences and festivals, hosted and facilitated workshops for major Fortune 500 companies, and regularly guests lectures at colleges and universities.
Outside of magic, Nicole is a children’s book author, philanthropist, consultant and advisor to innovative startups in the social good space.
She spends time between Los Angeles, CA and Austin, TX and performs around the world.

Nicole Cardoza is an award-winning serial social entrepreneur, investor, author, and public speaker making wellness accessible for everyone. Her company, Reclamation Ventures, incubates and invests in projects committed to health and racial equity. Current projects include Wellemental and Anti-Racism Daily. She also manages the Reclamation Ventures Fund, which has distributed over $500,000 in direct support grants to people making wellness more accessible.
Nicole Cardoza is also a magician who uses cardistry, illusions and storytelling to help us reclaim our inherent magic. She’s performed at conferences, exclusive membership clubs, and high-profile private events across the U.S..
Nicole’s first published book, Mindful Moves, was published in Spring 2021. Nicole is also a board member of Camelback Ventures. She is a 2017 Forbes 30 Under 30, and has been recognized as one of the most influential changemakers in wellness by Well + Good, and Wanderlust. She’s taught yoga across the globe and now speaks regularly on the intersection of wellness, entrepreneurship and anti-racism at Fortune 500 companies, colleges and universities, conferences and summits.
Nicole identifies as a queer, cisgender Black woman. Her pronouns are she/her.
