Comedy That Rocks
Mark Eddie is a guitarist & musical comedian with a musician’s view on everything from pop music to parenting. With his signature voice & happy-go-lucky spirit, Eddie thoroughly entertains audiences the world over. His one-of-a-kind RockComedy show features songs, jokes, rock & roll history & spot-on singing impressions. Eddie is known for nailing the very essence of artists such as Al Green, Neil Diamond, Shaggy, Dave Mathews, Bruce Springsteen, Van Morrison & many more.
Having toured professionally for 14 years as a musician/singer/songwriter, Eddie has a knack for putting a satirical spin on pop anthems, music headlines & rock legends. With guitar in hand & tongue firmly in cheek, he tackles burning questions like: How does music of the 70’s, 80’s & 90’s stack up to today’s hits? How are heavy metal & polka similar? “They’re either brief moments of genius, or I have way too much time on my hands”, says Eddie with a grin.
Corporate Entertainer – Rock Musician to Rock Comedian
As if performing 250+ shows a year at theaters & major corporate events for names like Verizon®, Medtronic MiniMed®, Bayer®, Disney® & Vans® isn’t enough, Eddie has also spoken &/or sung some of the most recognizable spots for Nickelodeon®, Showtime®, Nintendo® & Sears® among others.
Originally, Mark Eddie, a seasoned musician with a frisky sense of humor, toured with & opened for national acts Jackson Browne, Melissa Etheridge & Toad the Wet Sprocket while supporting a solo album which was TWICE singled out in Billboard Magazine®.
Tirelessly touring colleges, Eddie was nominated 5 times for the NACA® “Campus Entertainment Awards” and topped the CMJ® charts again & again. He’s always had a burning desire to explore comedy and has since recorded three albums combining comedy with rock music in the form or stand-up comedy, parodies & originals featured on Sirius/XM and syndicated radio programs. Currently, Eddie tours internationally headlining theaters, performing arts centers, Vegas showrooms, major corporate events & LA’s most legendary comedy clubs.
“One day, I literally went from rock musician to rock comedian”, says Eddie. He even “sits in” occasionally as part of all-star band line ups with members of The Doors, Fleetwood Mac, Kiss, Boston, No Doubt, The Doobie Brothers or Steely Dan. In any situation, Mark Eddie will bring a smile to your face with his unbridled, positive energy.
