Clean Comedian Joe Zimmerman brings insightful observations and a fun-loving curiosity to live and virtual comedy that achieves a level of joy rarely accomplished. Known for his inventive writing and playful persona, Joe’s jokes are first and foremost on himself, setting the mood for his fans to relax and have fun turning their own humanity into hilarity. He finds the absurdities and contradictions of everyday existence – the ones you almost don’t notice but instantly relate to, as well as touching on more creative topics from history, to pop-science, bird watching, time machines, Bigfoot, The Universe, monkey research, Doomsday preppers, and of course baby Hitler.
Buzzfeed named him a top comic to watch, saying, “Joe’s calming vocalization and inventive writing is a thing of magic,” and “You’d be hard-pressed to find a more enjoyable show.”
One of his bits drew praise from John Mulaney in Vulture magazine: who said “That’s so funny to take an audience through real facts about Andrew Jackson, who’s on no one’s mind, and then Joe Zimmerman brings him up and tells you real things he did and has jokes that are great, and it destroys.”
Brian Regan called Joe, “One of my favorite comedians” and invited him to perform with him at The Kennedy Center, Red Rocks, Radio City Music Hall, and his Netflix Special at the Paramount. John Oliver called him “Spectacular” after a set for Comedy Central; and Ricky Gervais invited him to perform with two separate times at Madison Square Garden. Jimmy Fallon, after seeing him do a set at The Stand in New York city, invited him to do his debut on The Tonight Show in 2017.
Fun, Interactive Virtual Show
