Kaplan has received numerous accolades throughout his career, including first-place medals at the Canton Battle of Magicians and the Columbus Magi-Fest. He was honored with the “People’s Choice” award at the 2006 International Brotherhood of Magicians convention in Miami and secured second place at the 2008 IBM/SAM Competition, the world’s second-largest magic competition.
In his performances, Kaplan tames rogue bowling balls, juggles furniture, performs feats of prestidigitation, and plays melodies on unconventional instruments like the “concert balloon,” turkey baster, and his great-grandfather’s ukulele. His act is a hilarious ballet of chaos and calamity that leaves audiences in a state of child-like wonder.
