He graduated from college with a journalism degree and was originally going to be a sports broadcaster before a career change led him to work at a church in Oklahoma.

For various events, he would write comedic sketches, videos and songs for crowd icebreakers to the point where he began being invited to other church and corporate events in the region as entertainment. Thus, a comedy career was born.

Since then, Byron has traveled around the world doing comedy for churches, retreats, conferences, fundraisers, high schools, universities, and corporate events. He has been featured on ABC, NBC, The Dan Patrick Show, and Dry Bar Comedy. His hilarious blend of music and comedy in his live shows and the following generated by his online videos have also enabled him to share the stage with nationally known comedians like John Crist and Anita Renfroe.

He married his childhood sweetheart, Hannah, and have three young children. After beginning his comedy career in Tulsa, OK, Byron now lives back home in the snow-capped mountains of Detroit, MI.
