• Create a budget
• Define the goals and objectives for your event
• Pick the date
• Select the venue
• Select the menu and bar options
• If the event is far in the future, send a save-the-date
• Decide what type of entertainment works best for your event
• Work with a talent agent to identify the best entertainer for your event
• Arrange for any necessary setup that your entertainment requires
• Sign all contracts
• Confirm all details
• Invite guests and ensure they know the location, transportation options, parking, agenda, food details, start/end times, and other relevant info
• Promote your event to generate enthusiasm and reduce no-shows
• Plan timing and all relevant day-of-event details
• Ensure all guests have a safe way home
• Thank your guests for attending
• Share photos on social media, newsletters, and other appropriate channels
