Create a budget
Define the goals and objectives for your event
Pick the date
Select the venue

If the event is in the distant future, use a save the date
Decide what type of entertainment works best for your event
Work with a talent agent to identify the best entertainer for your event
Arrange for any necessary setup that your entertainment needs at the event
Sign all contracts
Confirm all details Invite guests – ensure they know the location, best transportation options, parking, the agenda for the evening, the food situation, the start and end time for the event and any other pertinent details
Promote your event to generate enthusiasm and decrease no-shows
Plan timing and all relevant details for the day of the event
Ensure that your guests all have a safe way home
Thank your guests for joining you
Share photos on social media, in newsletter and anywhere else that is appropriate.
